On July 12, 2025, the city of Antipolo witnessed another inspiring chapter in its journey toward sustainability and wellness with the annual Padyak Para sa Kalikasan. This community-driven event brought together over 300 cyclists for a meaningful ride that celebrated health, environmental stewardship, and the power of collective action.

The day began early with assembly at 5:00 AM at SM Cherry Antipolo, where riders gathered in anticipation of the journey ahead. At 6:00 AM, the cyclists took off for a 12-kilometer ride to the Antipolo Skate Park, completing the route in just under an hour. The ride was more than a physical challenge. It was a symbolic gesture of unity for a cleaner, greener future.

At 8:00 AM, the program commenced with talks highlighting the importance of nature conservation and the role of tree planting initiatives in restoring ecological balance. Speakers also emphasized how cycling contributes to personal health and environmental sustainability. After the talks everyone enjoined tree planting activity as the program ended.

The event was graced by Vice Mayor Randy Puno, City Councilor LJ Sumulong, and a Miss Earth Antipolo Liz Mabao, whose presence underscored the significance of the campaign. Their messages echoed the shared vision of a healthier city and a more resilient planet.

This initiative was made possible through the leadership of Mayor Jun-Andeng Ynares, in collaboration with SM Center Antipolo Downtown, Globe, Zonta Club, JCI Cainta, Manila Water, Play Lab Animation Studio, and the unwavering support of the DENR Environmental Management Bureau, Antipolo City Hall employees, the local police, dedicated volunteers and yours truly; Paracelsus Lifesciences Corp.
